Das Werk von Manfred L. KOUTEK ist bipolar – abstrakte und naturalistische Darstellung sind für ihn gleichrangig.

Vorerst entwickelte sich das Schaffen des Künstlers von phantastischen und surrealen Werken hin zur abstrakten, informellen Malerei, sein von ihm kreierter  „Abstrakter Surrealismus".

Parallel dazu entstand sein naturalistisches Werk, vor allem Landschaft, Architektur, aber auch Figurales und Portraits :  „Romantischer Naturalismus"  .

Signifikant ist aber für alle Koutek Bilder der surrealistische Aspekt, der unverkennbare Duktus und die Farbwahl.

„Ich bin kein Ideologe, Kunst ist für mich sichtbar gemachtes Leben. Mein Werk ist breitgefächert und bipolar. Ich male und zeichne das, was ich vor mir oder in mir sehe und setze es auf meine Art künstlerisch um ."

The work of Manfred L. KOUTEK is bipolar - abstract and naturalistic representation are equally important to him.

Initially, the artist´s work developed from fantastical and surreal pieces to abstract , informal painting, his self-created "Abstract Surrealism".

In parallel , his naturalistic work emerged , primarily landscapes, architecture, but also figurative works and portraits: "Romantic Naturalism".

 However, the surreal aspect, the unmistakable style, and the choice of colors are significant in all of KOUTEK´s paintings.
